The most UN-thankful holiday

Black Friday Deals

Meaning of Thanksgiving
As I walked in Walmart for a few last minute things on Thanksgiving Day afternoon, the craziness had already begun. The clothing isles were totally cleared out in preparation for full buggies pushing through, crazy people running around, and lines that would be unimaginably long. The Black Friday fun was almost here. It was almost time. They had deals all wrapped in plastic, certain isles roped off and police officers circling the store already having to put people in their place. Don’t get me wrong, I love the craziness of Black Friday and a good deal just as much as the next person, but should they really start on Thanksgiving afternoon? We’re supposed to be thankful that day yet we’re scarfing down our lunch to go beat someone up over a kitchen towel. I still think the sales shouldn’t officially open until Friday. Thursday should be fully appreciated first. We need to spend the day being thankful for all the good deals we’re about to get!
