Living in Arkansas, we do not normally see much snow. Once in a blue moon we will get hit “hard” which to Arkansans is like 3 inches in one day. Most of the time though, our winter’s are just cold and dry.
So when I decided to go to college in Russellville, I got slightly excited about the weather. Russellville is still Arkansas but it is further north so I expected an increase in winter weather. Wrong. Never in my few years in Russellville did I think that Little Rock and central Arkansas would get six inches while Russellville remained dry and sunny.
This day did come though. On Friday, central Arkansas saw what Arkansans would consider a blizzard and then there was Russellville, just dry and sunny as can be. This just went to show me how unpredictable the weather really is.
