When I first started trying to eat healthier, my excuse as to why I hadn’t been was always that it took too long to make healthy food. My second excuse was that healthy food always went bad faster so I was spending more money throwing away rotted food.
Since then, I have discovered salads in a jar. If you need a fast, healthy option that won’t go bad after two days in the fridge then this blog is for you.
All you need is a couple of mason jars, lettuce and whatever salad toppings you would like.
You simply layer your salad toppings on the bottom of the jar. Next, you fill the jar up with lettuce and put the lid on it.
When you are ready to eat it, you simply dump the salad out and put the dressing of your choice on it.
